HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Faced with subfreezing temperatures and a wintery mix across the Southeast, Alabama A&M (5-12, 0-2 SWAC) softball and baseball (1-9, 0-0 SWAC) have had their respective games for Saturday, March 12 rescheduled.
Baseball was slated to take on Eastern Illinois in the second game of a three-game set at Bulldog Field but instead that game has been shifted into part of a seven-inning/nine-inning doubleheader set for 12 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, March 13.
Softball was in Itta Bena, Mississippi after completing the first two games of their three-game series against Mississippi Valley State yesterday. Following temperatures approaching freezing for those games and the onset of rain and winds in excess of 20 MPH, the decision was made to postpone that game and play it as part of the regular season finale series in Huntsville at the end of April.
