AUBURN, Ala. – With the turning of the calendar to spring, Alabama A&M men's track & field turned its attention to the outdoor campaign with a trip to the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Southeastern Conference (SEC) foe Auburn on Saturday, March 19.
Junior
Nicholas Powell (Montgomery, Alabama) paced three solid performances in the 100-meters, placing 12-of-28 with a mark of 11.00. He was joined in 15
th by sophomore
Jeremy Gresham (Montgomery, Ala.) at 11.12 and senior
Keyshawn Johnson at 18
th and 11.24.
Sophomore
Shawn Guerrier (Miami, Fla.) placed 21-of-35 in the 200-meters (22.55) with junior
Kyle Graham (Mobile, Ala.) coming in two spots back at No. 23 (22.64). Junior
Isaiah McCaulley (Huntsville, Ala.) rounded out the top performers with a 17-of-25 outing in the discus, hitting a mark of 37.60-meters.
The Bulldogs are right back in action this coming weekend as they head to Murray, Kentucky for the Margaret Simmons Invitational. That meet will be hosted by Murray State and held at Roy Stewart Stadium from March 25-26.
