BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With a full slate of student-athletes competing, Alabama A&M men's track & field delivered four Top-10 outings to close out the final day of the Hilltopper Relays on Saturday, April 2.
Junior
Brandon McLaren (Clifton, Hanover, Jamaica) led that group as he finished 3-of-16 in the javelin (56.70m) and was joined by fellow junior
Nicholas Powell (Montgomery, Alabama), who produced a 6-of-58 outing in the 200-meters (22.54).
Sophomore
Jeremy Gresham (Montgomery, Ala.) wasn't far behind with a 7-of-32 finish in the 400-meters (50.78) while freshman
Tyler Pitts placed 8-of-19 in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.35. Junior
Kyle Graham (Mobile, Ala.) was 11
th in the 200-meters and senior
Keyshawn Johnson came in 12-of-32 in the 400-meters (51.34).
Sophomore
Shawn Guerrier (Miami, Fla.) capped off a strong day as he placed 13
th in the 200-meters at 22.88 and placed 15-of-47 in the 100-meters with a time of 11.16.
The Bulldogs are right back in action for three days at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational this coming weekend. That meet will run from April 7-9 in Birmingham, Alabama.
