NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sending a limited field to the Music City Challenge, Alabama A&M men's track & field delivered four Top-10 performances on Saturday, April 30.
Freshman
Tyler Pitts led that contingent with a 6-of-12 finish in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 56.60 while junior
Brandon McLaren (Clifton, Hanover, Jamaica) was 7-of-14 in the 110-meter hurdles (14.86). The latter finished ahead of competitors from the likes of Western Kentucky, SIU Edwardsville, Belmont and UT-Martin.
Junior
Isaiah McCaulley (Huntsville, Ala.) placed 9-of-17 in the hammer with a mark of 47.10-meters and senior
Keyshawn Johnson rounded out the top performances with a 10-of-18 outing in the 400-meters (50.13).
The Bulldogs will be back in action as they head to Prairie View, Texas for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships. This year's meet will run from May 5-7 and be hosted by PVAMU.
