There are over 44 teams across 20 states in its inaugural season.
Medina had an outstanding season in 2021 and she was named Preseason and Postseason Goalkeeper of the Year, becoming the first Bulldog to do so. She dominated the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) with nine shutouts, including five straight shutouts from October 22 - November 4. Medina made a whopping 142 saves, only allowed 34 goals and played a total of 1,679 minutes.

Two days later Medina would end the week against Jackson State (10/24) at Bulldog Field by anchoring the defense and playing 90 minutes to once again make seven saves to notch the 1-0 shutout victory.
Ahead of the 2021 SWAC Tournament, Medina was named SWAC Goalkeeper of the Year after delivering a tremendous season, starting all 17 games for the Bulldogs. She was the leader in shutouts in the SWAC with eight and had four consecutive blankings that set a program single season record.
Those occurred from October 22-29 against Southern, Jackson State, Grambling and Alabama State. She entered the Tournament at 9-7-1 and 8-1-0 in the SWAC and had made 129 saves, only allowed 32 goals while having a save percentage of 0.801 and played 1485 minutes before making her way down to the Tournament held at Prairie View.
The Bulldogs took on Southern (11/4) in the Tournament quarterfinals and won with a 1-0 score in a game that lasted 104 minutes. Medina helped AAMU advance to the semifinals for the first time since November 7, 2008 and tied the most wins in a season since 2007. She would make 11 saves and produce her ninth shutout of the season and a program record fifth straight shutout.
One day later No. 2 seed Alabama A&M would face off against No. 3 seed Grambling (11/5) and fall by a 2-0 decision to end their season. Medina would play all 90 minutes while making two saves to wrap up her historic season as a Bulldog.
