BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M University women's soccer senior defender Victoria Mealing earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) honors, which was announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Mealing, a native of Alexandria, Va., received All-SWAC second-team honors as she helped Alabama A&M into the Conference tournament.
 
In her 2023 campaign, Mealing started all 18 games with eight points and four goals, headlined by her two-goal performance against Texas Southern on Oct 22. She tied for fifth in the conference in game-winning goals.
 
Alabama A&M, the No. 8 seed will take on No. 1 seed Grambling State in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Soccer championship on Thursday. Kickoff will be at 10 a.m. The game will be streamed on the SWAC Digital Network.
