HUNTSVILLE, Ala. __ Alabama A&M baseball will host their home opener on Tuesday, February 28, as they face Stillman in a midweek non-conference matchup at Bulldog Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs (4-4) are coming off a three-game weekend, taking part in the MLB Andre Dawson Classic for the first time, where they defeated Prairie View A&M 13-1 on Friday, before falling in close games to Grambling State, 3-2, and Southern, 9-7, to close out the classic.

The two programs last met on March 15, 2022, also in Huntsville, where the Bulldogs won a 5-3 decision despite earning just four hits on the day. Redshirt-juniorÂ
Jason Marono (Miami, Fla.) earned the win last season against the Tigers, working 3.0 innings and allowing just one hit while on the mound.

Stillman is coming into the ball game undefeated at an 8-0 mark, scoring in double-digits in seven of their eight games so far, including their last four outings. The Tigers last game was a midweek road contest against Clark Atlanta, where they defeated the Panthers 22-8 on Tuesday, February 21.
