HUNTSVILLE – Due to predicted weather that would make Skyhawk Baseball Field unavailable on Tuesday, Alabama A&M baseball's two-game non-conference series against UT Martin has been adjusted.
Â
The Bulldogs and Skyhawks will now faceoff first at Bulldog Field on Tuesday afternoon for a 2 p.m. start, while the home game for UT Martin will be played on May 9, in Martin, Tenn.
Â
A&M (9-9) is coming off a 2-1 series win over Jackson State to open Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play with victories on Friday (13-9) and Sunday (12-9). They will look to extend their win streak and rebound from a loss in their previous home contest against Southeastern Louisiana on March 8.
Â
UT Martin (5-16) is coming into the matchup after dropping four straight games, falling to Southern Illinois, before a doubleheader against Samford on March 18.
Â
Both programs will start left handers on the mound on Tuesday, with redshirt sophomore
Gabe Nicholson earning the start for the Bulldogs, while freshman Zach Wager will get the nod for the Skyhawks.
