BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M freshman golfer Niall Bilal was named to the 2023 All-SWAC men's golf team, announced by the league office after postseason play.
Bilal finished the year with three top-35 finishes in his first season, starting with a 27th place finish in both the Alabama A&M Classic and SWAC Fall Invitational, before 33rd at the ASU Spring Classic and NCAT Aggie Invitational.
This past week, Bilal finished with a 6-over 222 at the SWAC Golf Championship, finishing eighth and helping him claim the conference honor.
The Bulldog season will resume next month as they conclude the season at the 2023 PGA Works Collegiate Championship, held in Birmingham Monday, May 8 through Wednesday, May 10.
