TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama A&M University track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Crimson Tide Invitational, Saturday evening.   

The women's side had plenty of success in the meet, highlighted by veteran Aneisha Ingram who clocked a 2:18.01 in the 800-meter run, taking fifth place. She was closely followed by teammate De'Ajene Johnson in the event, who took sixth with a time of 2:21.71.
 
Meanwhile, sophomore Victoya Smith also had a standout performance, taking eighth in both the 100-meter (10.81) and 200-meter (24.07) events, continuing a strong outdoor season so far. Olivia Andrews and Shakiera Woods were the final two Bulldogs on the women's side to earn top finishes, as Andrews took 10th in the 400, clocking at 56.34, while Woods took 12th in the 100-meter hurdles at 14.65.
 
On the men's side, freshman Joshua Graham had a strong triple jump performance, clearing 14.50 meters, good for fifth overall, while fellow freshman Talil Atkins finished 14th in the 400-meter run with a time of 48.23.
 
Alabama A&M will get back on the road next weekend for the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee April 28-29.
