HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M Baseball will return home this week to play in their final regular season series of the year as the Bulldogs welcome Mississippi Valley State for a three-game stint over the next two days at the Bulldog Baseball Field.
Â
The series will begin on Thursday afternoon at 12 noon, followed by a Friday doubleheader scheduled to start at 1 p.m. in an effort to avoid incoming weather this weekend.
Â
A&M (12-33, 3-23 SWAC) will look to finish the 2023 season with victories in front of their home fans along with end a 13-game losing streak dating back to a win against Jackson State at home on Friday, April 21.
Â
The Bulldogs and Devils will meet for the second time this season, as Mississippi Valley routed Alabama A&M with a sweep in the Magnolia Field in Mississippi earlier in April. The series between these two divisional rivals is currently at 44-43 in favor of the Bulldogs dating back to 2006. Mississippi Valley State (14-34, 6-20 SWAC) is coming off a series against in state rivals Jackson State as they won the last game of the series 7-6.
