Tallahassee, Fla |Â On Saturday afternoon, The Alabama A&M volleyball team (1-14, 0-2 SWAC) took on the Florida A&M Rattlers (5-9, 1-1 SWAC). After three play sets, the Rattlers swept the match up 3-0 with scores 21-25, 17-25, and 18-25.
Alabama A&M finished with 26 hits in 100 total attacks, 42 digs, 24 assists, and seven total blocks, which resulted in 36 total points in the contest.Â
Caitlin Shaw led the Bulldog offense with eight kills, whileÂ
Grace Tapscott recorded 15 assists. Defensively,
M'Kenna Albert and
Michell Jerez led digs with nine digs each.Â
Florida A&M finished with 30 kills in 91 total attacks, 48 digs, 27 assists, and six total blocks, giving them forty-five points.Â
Lynn Brooke Watts led the Rattlers with Seven kills. De La Rose Camila led in two categories with 23 assists and three blocks, and Brooke Hudson had 13 digs.Â
