BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Three Alabama A&M University track and field student-athletes received Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) weekly honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Each individual broke school records following performances at the Vanderbilt Invitational this past weekend.

Ana-Liese Torian garnered the SWAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week award after breaking her 60m hurdles record by winning the event, with a time of 8.35 seconds on Saturday.

Briana Cox received the SWAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor after breaking her own school record in weight throw, finishing third with a toss of 16.92m on Friday.

Justin Walker secured the SWAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week award after posting a school record of 7.49m in the long jump on Friday
