HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's cross country team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday morning, finishing 29
th in the UAH Charger Invitational at John Hunt Park.
Alabama A&M finished with 882 points to claim the 29
th spot as Chico State won the meet with 45 points. UAH placed second with 92 points, followed by Pittsburg State (116), CUI (213) and Florida Southern (213).
Zachary Cooper led the Bulldogs, with a time of 26:59.70 on the 8K course. Eric Bannon (27:03.10),
Juan Osorio (27:03.50), Xavier Turner (28:09.50) and Caleb Roberts (28:39.50) wrapped up the individual scoring.
Josephat Meli, of Harding, won the meet, recording a time of 23:17.90.
Alabama A&M concludes the season on Monday, Oct. 21 at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.
