HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's cross country team was up early on Friday as the Bulldogs participated in the annual Southern Showcase at John Hunt Park.
Zachary Cooper was the first Bulldog to cross the finish line in 27:45.3, while
Juan Osorio finished in 27:59.2.
Eric Brannon logged a time of 28:53.1 and
Korede Otusajo posted a time of 31:04.1.
Caleb Roberts crossed in 31:28.1 and
Corey Harris registered a time of 32:47.8.
Dismus Lokira, of Alabama, won the individual meet, logging a time of 23:11.1, beating teammate Dennis Kipruto (23:20.7).
The Bulldogs finished 48
th overall. Alabama won the meet with 32 points, followed by Kentucky (131) and Lipscomb (138).
Alabama A&M returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Michael Pretorius Invitational at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.
