SPARTANBURG, S.C. | Juan Osorio paced the Alabama A&M University men's cross country team during Saturday's Upstate Invite at the Milliken Research Center.
 
Osorio was the first Bulldog to cross the finish line on the 8K course, logging a time of 27:04.6 to finish 103
rd. 
Zachary Cooper placed 137
th in 27:48.7, while 
Eric Brannon was 169
th in 28:49.6. 
Caleb Roberts (30:27.3) and 
Korede Otusajo (39:59.3) rounded out AAMU's individual scoring.
 
Jaouad Khchina was the individual winner, running a time of a 23:55.4.
 
Alabama A&M, in its final tune-up race before the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships, recorded 505 points to earn the 17
h spot as Jacksonville State won the meet with 26 points. 
 
Western Carolina placed second with 116 points, followed by Davidson (123), College of Charleston (132), UNC Asheville (137), USC Upstate (145), West Georgia (184), Longwood (193), Campbell (224), Winthrop (350), The Citadel (369), Upstate Alumni (373), South Carolina State (381), Bridgewater (391), Wofford (425) and Spartanburg Methodist (503).
 
Alabama A&M concludes its season on Monday, Oct. 27 at the SWAC Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.
