NASHVILLE, Tenn. | Bravin Kibitok led the Alabama A&M University men's cross country team with a 31
stfinish as the Bulldogs placed seventh on Friday morning at the Belmont Opener at Percy Warner Park.
Kibitok finished the race 31
st, with a time of 16:20.0 to lead all AAMU runners.
Juan Osorio placed 42
nd in 17:28.3, while
Zachary Cooper and
Eric Brannon were 44
th and 45
th, with times of 17:32.1 and 17:33.4, respectively.
Caleb Roberts crossed in 18:36.6 and
Korede Otusajo finished in 18:41.8.
The Bulldogs recorded 173 points to claim the sixth spot, while host Belmont won the meet with 20 points. Lipscomb placed second with 39 points, followed by Western Kentucky (89), Vanderbilt (105) and Austin Peay (146). Tennessee State rounded out the field with 187 points to place seventh.
Alabama A&M returns to action on Friday, Sept. 12 at John Hunt Park in the Southern Showcase.
