TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Alabama A&M University men's cross country team had all five runners finish inside the top 25 on Monday morning as the Bulldogs finished third at the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships at the Apalachee Regional Park.

Alabama A&M, throughout much of the event on the 8K course, remained in the top of the pack as the Bulldogs finished with 95 points, just 10 points shy of second place Prairie View A&M (85). Texas Southern won the meet with 69 points. Bethune-Cookman (102), Jackson State (103), Southern (153), Alabama State (167), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (173), Alcorn State (175), Mississippi Valley State (274) and Grambling State (277) rounded out the 11-team field.

The Bulldogs had three runners finish in the top 20, led by
Zachary Cooper, who recorded a time of 27:28.5 to take 15
th.
Juan Osorio and
Eric Brannon finished 17
th and 18
th, with times of 27:37.2 and 27:58.0, respectively. Xavier Turner placed 21
st in 28:14.1 and
Bravin Kibitok rounded out the individual scoring in 24
th, logging a time of 28:35.1.

Bethune-Cookman's Victor Bibet was the individual winner, with a time of 25:58.4.
