FLORENCE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M Bulldogs take back to the hardwood after a 10-day break as they face the University of North Alabama Lions on Tuesday at the CB&S Bank Arena at Flowers Hall.
Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. and will be live streamed on ESPN+ with Benjamin Ray and Matt Daniels on the call and Chase Glover as the sideline reporter. The game will also air on WLX Radio with Bryan Neece on commentary.
The Bulldogs continue their eight-game road stretch after defeating the Lindenwood Lions 61-58 last Saturday to give LU their first loss at home. Alisha Wilson earned her second double-double of the season after scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds, the most boards of either team. Mailyn Wilkerson added 11 points of her own, going 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Wilson and Jaiyah Harris-Smith each picked up three steals, while Harris-Smith recorded a game-high seven assists to earn her 305th career assist.
The Lions' last time out was December 5, where they fell 67-61 to in-state foe Samford in an extra period. Senior guard Charity Gallegos leads UNA in scoring, averaging 11.3 points per game, and ranks in the top 20 of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Gallegos also leads the team in assists and steals, with 26 and nine respectively. Defensively, junior India Howard leads in attacking the boards and in steals, with 49 rebounds and nine steals on the season.
The Bulldogs and Lions meet for the 17th time, with UNA leading the overall series. AAMU claimed the most recent victory, defeating North Alabama 70-57 in the event center last season. Tickets to Tuesdays game are $17 and can be purchased here. Fans can park in the Lot C parking lot below the Mitchell Burford Science and Technology Building.
