COVINGTON, Ga. | The Alabama A&M University softball team is seeking its first win at the HBCU Collegiate Invitational as the Bulldogs opened play with a pair of losses on Friday and two more on Saturday.
Alabama A&M (1-5) began the invitational with a 2-1 loss to Fort Valley State on Friday.
Against the Wildcats,AAMU finished with two runs on six hits and committed two errors as FVSU grabbed the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Allyson Riches,
Madison Murray,
Catherine Hickey,
Susanna Cruit and
Imani Mathis each collected hits, while Cris'Deona Bealsey took the loss, surrendering two runs on six hits, struck out six and walked three in six innings.
The Bulldogs concluded the first day with 11-3 loss in six innings to Howard.
Alabama A&M opened the second day with a 12-3 loss to South Carolina State as
Serena Herbranson,
Katie Puckett and Cruit recorded two hits apiece.
AAMU wrapped up its second day with a 14-4 loss to Maryland Eastern Shore.
Against the Hawks, the Bulldogs finished with six hits as
Natalie Picado went 2-for-3, with a pair of RBI and one run scored.
