BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Ezekiel Salama and Joshua Graham both broke school records as the Alabama A&M University men's and women's track and field teams completed the final day of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
 
Both programs finished eighth as the Florida A&M women and Texas Southern men captured the 2024 indoor championships.
 
Salama broke the school record and set a personal best in the process in the weight throw, with a winning toss of 18.20m. The previous record was held by Akeem Samuels at 17.19m.
 
In the triple jump, Graham finished fifth as he earned a personal best and broke his own school record, with a jump of 15.20m.

• In the 60m, Victoya Smith placed seventh in 7.61
• Smith recorded a season-best time of 24.98 in the 200m
• Anjane Cressey placed fourth in the pentathlon, recording 3,125 points
• In the 5000m, Sanyae Gibson finished fifth, logging a time of 19:27.22, while Taylor Wingo placed ninth with a personal record time of 19:43.93
• The 4x400m relay team of Laila Gaynor, Ana-Liese Torian, Smith, and Minka Isom claimed seventh, with a time of 3:50.33

• Eric Barker set a personal record in the 60m hurdles in 8.37
• In the 1 mile, Eric Brannon finished seventh, with a season-best time of 4:32.84
• The 4x400m relay team of Kody Pugh, Talil Atkins, Barker and Keyshawn Johnson placed seventh, with a time of 3:18.30

MEN'S FIELD EVENTS

• Bruce Davis placed 10^th in the weight throw, with a toss of 13.60m
