HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's basketball team is coming off a thrilling come-from-behind win on Saturday and seek back-to-back wins as the Bulldogs play host to Bethune-Cookman on Monday. Tip-off against the Wildcats during First Responders/Military Appreciation is set for 5:30 p.m. from the AAMU Event Center and streamed on Bulldogs All-Access.
 
Alabama A&M (9-11 overall, 4-4 SWAC) snapped a two-game losing streak after a come-from-behind victory over Florida A&M on Saturday, 71-69. Meanwhile, Bethune-Cookman (13-8, 4-4) fell to Alabama State, 56-53, on Saturday.

Toni Grace paced Alabama A&M with a team-high 17 points as the Bulldogs defeated Bethune-Cookman, 50-48.
 
Grace added four rebounds, one assist and one steal, while Amani Free recorded 12 points, seven boards, and one assist as the Bulldogs shot 31.4 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line.
 
Chanel Wilson led the Wildcats with 21 points, three steals, two rebounds two assists and one block. D'Shantae Edwards tossed in 10 points, four steals and four boards. The Wildcats shot 30.9 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from the foul line.

A 30-point career-high performance from Amiah Simmons helped the Alabama A&M rally from a 17-point deficit as the Bulldogs snapped a two-game losing streak with a 71-69 victory over Florida A&M on Saturday.
 
Simmons paced the Bulldogs with a team-high 30 points, five assists, four rebounds, and four steals. Kaylah Turner registered 11 points, five assists and two rebounds. Darian Burgin posted 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal, while Alisha Wilson grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
 
Alabama A&M shot 35.3 percent from the field and 76.5 percent from the charity stripe.
 
LAST TIME OUT – BETHUNE-COOKMAN
Kayla White and Chanelle McDonald paced Bethune-Cookman with 16 points each as the Wildcats fell to Alabama State 56-53 on Saturday.
 
The Hornets held BCU to 13 points in the fourth quarter, to pull away with the conference victory.
 
Bethune-Cookman shot 29 percent from the floor while grabbing 39 rebounds.
