TROY, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's tennis team returned to action on Thursday, falling, 7-0, to Troy at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
Troy (3-0) claimed the doubles point, picking up victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
The Trojans sealed the victory with wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4. Troy completed the sweep, earning wins at No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6.

Alabama A&M steps into Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play for the first time this season, starting on Friday, Feb. 16 against Southern. First serve against the Jaguars will be at 10 a.m. in Montgomery, Ala. The Bulldogs will also meet in Montgomery against Grambling State (Feb. 17 – 10 a.m.) and Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 18 – 10 a.m.).
