NASHVILLE, Tenn. | Gabrielle Henderson notched a singles win, but it wasn't enough as the Alabama A&M University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Belmont on Saturday at the Beaman Family Tennis Complex.
Belmont (7-6) earned the doubles point after picking up victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
In singles play, Henderson defeated Hana Sokolovic, 6-4, 6-3, at No. 4 to give Alabama A&M (4-9) its lone win.
The Bruins sealed the match with singles victories at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6.
