CARY, N.C. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team is tied for fifth after two rounds of the SAS HBCU Invitational on Saturday at the Prestonwood Country Club.
The Bulldogs carded a two-round total of 595 and is tied for fifth with Southern at 35 over par. North Carolina A&T State leads the field with a 5-over-par 565, while Arkansas-Pine Bluff (583), North Carolina Central (584) and Texas Southern (586) rounded out the field.
Vicente Rodriguez is tied for second, shooting a 1-under-par 139 and is four shots back of leader Emillio Hernandez, of North Carolina A&T State, who shot a 5-under-par 135. Rodriguez is tied with North Carolina Central's Jamal Hutchinson and Mateo Zolezzi.
Lukas Lange is tied for 16
th, shooting a 10 over 150 and teammate
Samuel Boddie is 21
st at 151.
James Fujita shot a 157 and
Kourey Patterson rounded out the individual scoring with a 158.
