Czaske Deane scored an early to secure the 1-0 victory for the Alabama A&M University women's soccer team against Southwestern Athletics Conference (SWAC) opponent Alcorn State on Thursday evening at Key City Park.

th minute, off an assist by
Albany Rios, proved to be the game-winner during a back-and-forth affair in the opening half. Alabama A&M (5-7 overall, 2-1 SWAC) held off a late charge to win its second straight conference match.
"This was a huge win for us," Alabama A&M head coach
Prince Borde said. "The effort we played with defensively against a team that has scored 12 goals in two matches is superb. All credit goes to the players."
