THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday evening as the Bulldogs play host to North Alabama. Tip-off against the Lions during Ugly Sweater Night is scheduled for 6 p.m. and streamed on SWAC TV.
Alabama A&M (3-7) saw its two-game winning streak snapped last Wednesday with an 82-44 setback to Minnesota.
Rakiyah Beal led the Bulldogs with 12 points, while
Jaida Belton added nine rebounds.
North Alabama (5-4) has lost two out of its last three games, including a 70-58 loss to South Alabama on Sunday. Alexsandra Alvearado paced the Lions offense with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
The game will air live on SWAC TV as Mo Carter (play-by-play) and L. Vann Pettaway (analyst) will have the call.
