ATLANTA, Ga. | Ezekiel Salama continues to raise the Alabama A&M University standards in the hammer throw in breaking his own school mark to highlight the first day at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday at the George C. Griffin Track.
One week after breaking his own school mark at the Crimson Tide Invitational, with a toss of 51.45m, Salama smashed the record, with a toss of 54.88m to finish 10
th in the event.
Amaya Mitchell-Howard just missed the top 10 in the hammer throw at 52.86m to take 11th, while
Amber Jamison placed ninth in the long jump at 5.70m.
In the men's long jump,
Olivier Jean finished eighth, registering a leap of 7.07m.

Alabama A&M concludes its weekend with the final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational at George C. Griffin Track on Saturday. The field events begin at 9:30 a.m. (central time), with the track events starting at 10 a.m.
