THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University baseball team concluded its three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series on Sunday afternoon with a 18-2 loss in seven innings to the Panthers at the Bulldog Baseball Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M (11-31 overall, 7-11 SWAC) opened the scoring in the top of the first inning.

Sonnier Moses began the game with the first pitch he saw, belting it over the wall in left and the Panthers added another run, grabbing a quick 2-0 lead.

PVAMU added to the advantage in the third with four more runs, stretching the margin to 6-0.

Alabama A&M (10-32, 2-19) plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the third.

Dre Amaral drew a two-out walk and scored on a double down the line in left by
Miles Jackson.
Charles Morris followed with a double to right center as Jackson came across, cutting the deficit to 6-2.

The Panthers responded with six runs in the fourth and six more in the fifth for an 18-2 advantage.

- Alabama A&M finished with two runs on six hits and stranded seven on base
- Miles Jackson went 2-for-3, with one RBI and one run scored
- Avery Seaton (0-5) took the loss, giving up nine runs on eight hits, with one strikeout and one walk in 3.2 innings

- Prairie View A&M finished with 18 runs on 14 hits and left six on base
- Landyn Grant (2-5) picked up the win, giving up two runs on six hits, walking four and fanning three in a complete game
