THE HILL | With the first home baseball game on Wednesday, the Alabama A&M University athletics department has announced the upcoming game themes for the Bulldogs home slate.
The Bulldogs will have their Opening Day Bash on Wednesday, Feb. 25 when Illinois State comes to town. First pitch against the Redbirds is set for 1 p.m.
A week later, AAMU has partnered with the Bulldog Market to collect supplies for local families with Stuff the Bus Day. The event is to help our student-athletes, local students, and families in need. Bring school supplies, non-perishable food, or essentials to the ballpark.
Fans are encouraged to wear black as Alabama A&M and Alcorn State will meet on March 14 – the middle of a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series – for the Black Out Game.
AAMU will honor Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday, April 4 as the Bulldogs will play the SWAC series finale against Texas Southern. Fans are encouraged to wear pink at the Bulldog Baseball Field.
The rivalry continues with the series opener on April 10 against Alabama State. Bulldog fans are encouraged to wear white for the White Out Game.
Alabama A&M will celebrate Health & Wellness Day against Jackson State on April 24, and the Maroon & White are asking fans to break out the cowboy boots for Boots & Bulldogs, a Western theme on May 8 when AAMU plays host to Florida A&M.
Alabama A&M concludes the final home weekend by celebrating Senior Day on Saturday, May 9 at the Bulldog Baseball Field.
