HAMPTON, Ga. | Vicente Rodriguez carded a 3-over-par 147 as the Alabama A&M University men's golf team finished fifth during the AAMU Invitational by the Underground on Tuesday at the Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club.
Rodriguez shot an even par during Tuesday's final round, which included four birdies, one bogey and one double bogey.
Samuel Boddie finished at 10 over and tied for 17
th, while
Kourey Patterson was 12 over and tied for 21
st.
Lukas Lange shot a 158 (24
th) and
James Fujita (30
th) rounded out the individual scoring.
Texas Southern's Bradley Lavinier was the individual medalist and the only golfer to break par, shooting a 2-under-par 142.
Alabama A&M fired a 615 during the two rounds to take fifth as Alabama State won the tournament, with a 592. Texas Southern was second (594), followed by Arkansas-Pine Bluff (599) and Southern (604).
