The Bulldogs fell 9-1 in game one before dropping a tightly contested 8-6 decision in game two.

In the opener, Florida A&M jumped out early and never looked back, scoring in each of the first three innings to build a 5-1 advantage. AAMU's lone run came in the third inning, as Paula Ocrospoma delivered an RBI single to score Kailee Gilbert.

Ocrospoma led the Bulldogs offensively in game one, going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, while Mary Grace Whatley added a hit as part of AAMU's four-hit effort.

Florida A&M extended its lead with a four-run fifth inning, powered by two-run home runs, securing the run-rule victory.

In game two, Alabama A&M responded with one of its stronger offensive performances of the day, tallying six runs on seven hits. The Bulldogs struck first in the opening inning, as Lily Calderon drove in two runs to give AAMU an early 2-0 lead.

After falling behind 6-2, the Bulldogs rallied in the fourth inning behind a two-run home run from Kali Austerman, trimming the deficit to 7-5 and shifting momentum back toward AAMU.

AAMU continued to apply pressure in the fifth inning, adding another run on an RBI single from Kaylee Tatum to cut the lead to one at 7-6.

Despite the comeback effort, Florida A&M answered with an insurance run in the sixth inning and held off the Bulldogs late to secure the 8-6 victory and complete the sweep.

Austerman led the Bulldogs in game two with two hits and two RBIs, while Calderon and Tatum each contributed key RBIs in the contest.
