OLD HICKORY, Tenn. | Vicente Rodriguez fired a 2-under par 70 during the final round of the TSU Big Blue Invitational on Tuesday and carded a three-round total of 215 to finish tied for ninth at the Hermitage Golf Course.
Rodriguez recorded three birdies and one bogey on the front nine and had one birdie and one bogey on the back to shoot a 69.
Samuel Boddie (tied for 17
th) carded a 5-over par 218 and shot 1 under during the final round, recording his lone birdie on the 11
th hole.
James Fujita and
Kourey Patterson finished tied for 33
rdwith 223s, while
Lukas Lange rounded out the scoring tied for 42
nd at 226.
Alabama State's Robert Woods and Tennessee State's Quincy Robert each shot 5 under to share the top spot.
Alabama A&M moved up one spot from the first two rounds and claimed sixth, carding a 22-over par 874. Florida A&M won the tournament, with a 7-over par 859, while Prairie View A&M was second, with an 862. Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Tennessee State tied for third at 864 and Alabama State claimed the fifth spot, with an 869. Miles was seventh at 878, followed by Parkland (885), John A. Logan (894), UMass Amherst (895) and Jackson State (934).
