THE HILL | The Alabama A&M volleyball program has been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.
The AVCA Team Academic Award honors volleyball programs that maintain outstanding academic success throughout the academic year. To qualify for the 2026 award, teams were required to post a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.30 during the 2025-26 academic year.
Alabama A&M recorded a team GPA of 3.42, reflecting the program's continued commitment to academic achievement alongside athletic competition.

The AVCA Team Academic Award has celebrated academic excellence in volleyball for more than three decades, recognizing collegiate and high school programs across the country for their commitment to success in the classroom.
