The Alabama A&M Softball team dropped its doubleheader against Mississippi Valley in Itta Bena on Fri. April 10. The Bulldogs were unable to get things going offensively or defensively, falling 8-0 in the first game. In the second game, A&M was defeated 13-5. The game was nationally televised on ESPNU.
The Bulldogs were held hitless in the first game, as the Devilettes used a four-run first inning to take a quick 4-0 advantage. MVSU scored four more runs in the bottom of the second for the 8-0 score.
A&M picked it up at the bat the second game, recording eight hits. Re'Quincia Mack went 2-for-3 at bat with a run batted in. Halie Buie had two hits. Ebony Thomas, Paris Sanders, and Britney White scored runs for the Bulldogs.
A&M will play Concordia (Ala.) for a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 14 beginning at 1 p.m.
