NORMAL -- Alabama A&M ended its regular season at home Sunday with a shut-out win over Mississippi Valley State University 2-0.
Nycole Henderson scored the first goal for the Lady Bulldogs, and then scored on a penalty kick, to seal the win. Goalies Linda Aboagye and Rolandrea Russell did not allow a goal in five shots.
Today's match was the final regular season home game for seniors KaMesha Gulley and Russell.
A&M ends the 2010 regular season with a 6-12 overall record and a 2-2 mark in conference play. With the loss MVSU falls to 5-12 on the year and 2-2 in the SWAC.
The Maroon & White will compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference post season soccer tournament beginning on Thursday, Nov. 4 on the campus of University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
