BOX SCORES: Game 1 / Game 2 - The Alabama A&M softball team split a doubleheader against Albany State on Wed. March 17. The Bulldogs won the first game 8-4, but was defeated 6-2 in the second session. A&M is now 3-7 on the season and will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. on March 19 to play in the SWAC Roundup.

AAMU 8, Albany State 4
Hali Buie led the Bulldogs on offense, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Nicole Norton drove in three while scoring three runs. Paris Sanders and Britney White recorded twp runs for A&M. Janice Aleman received the win on the mound, pitching a complete seven innings and fanning three batters.

Albany State 6, AAMU 2
Menchaca went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI. The Bulldogs struggled to get things going on the offensive end as Buie and Sanders were the only other players to recorded a hit. White scored the other run for A&M in the bottom of the fifth.
