BOX SCORES - Game 1 / Game 2 / Game 3 / Game 4  Hattiesburg, Miss.- The Alabama A&M softball team participated in the SWAC Roundup this past weekend in Hattiesburg, Miss. The Bulldogs beat Grambling 9-8, but dropped decisions to Prairie View (13-2), Texas Southern (12-5), and Southern (16-8). A&M is back in action when it travels to face Alcorn on March 26 beginning at 1 p.m.

AAMU 9, Grambling 8
A&M started the game with two runs in the top of the first inning. The Tigers responded with a three runs in the bottom half to take a 3-2 advantage, however. The Bulldogs had two runs in the fifth and another five runs in the sixth. Krissy Miles received the win on the mound - pitching a complete game while allowing 10 hits. Jasmin Riley led the offense by going 3-for-4 while driving in six and scoring a run. Dymond Rangel went 2-for-4 at the plate and tallied three runs for the Bulldogs.

Prairie View 13, AAMU 2
The Bulldogs struggled to get things going on the offensive end as the team was held to just three hits in the contest. Melanie Menchaca, Janice Aleman, and Riley recorded hits. Hali Buie and Riley had the only runs for A&M in the bottom of the first. Aleman took the loss on the mound, giving up six runs.

Texas Southern 12, AAMU 5
Riley went 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored to lead the A&M offense. Menchaca, Buie, and Nicole Norton also scored runs for the Bulldogs. Buie and Menchaca split time at pitching, with Buie receiving the loss on the mound.

Southern 16, AAMU 8
The Jaguars and Bulldogs battled back and forth throughout the entire game. The Bulldogs held an 8-7 advantage heading into the final inning, but nine Southern runs n the bottom half of the frame doomed A&M. Corissa Deadwyler went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Riley had two hits while driving in two Bulldogs.
