Box Score / The Bulldogs led 2-0 after the opening inning, but Arkansas Pine-Bluff's one run in the second and four in the bottom of the fourth helped the Golden Lions to a 5-3 victory at Bulldog Field. With the loss, A&M falls to 4-14 on the season. The team is back in action on Tues. April 6 for a double-header at Albany State.

Melanie Menchaca hit an in the park homer to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead heading into the bottom half of the frame. The Lions scored their first run in the bottom of the second. A&M did not respond and Pine Bluff ripped off four more runs in the fourth to take a 5-2 lead. Corissa Deadwyler scored for the Bulldogs in the sixth, but it was not enough as the Lions walked away with a 5-3 victory.

Menchaca went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored. Jasmin Riley went a perfect 4-for-4. Hali Buie and Deadwyler scored a run each for the Bulldogs. Menchaca took the loss on the mound in six innings of work.
