NORMAL – Three Alabama A&M University football players were named to the annual Phillip Steele Preseason All-SWAC list.
Starting running back Kaderius Lacey received first-team accolades while Chance Wilson earned his second with the honor with second-team honors along with linebacker Willie Fuller.
Lacey led the Maroon & White in rushing with 710 yards and five touchdowns and finished fifth in the conference. Fuller finished fourth on the team in tackles with 54, nine for a loss of 49 yards, six sacks and four quarterback hurries. The senior was 32nd in total tackles in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Wilson led the Bulldogs in scoring with 51 points coming from 8 of 11 in field goals and 27 for 27 in points after touchdowns.
