AAMU Softball Season Finale at Tennessee State

NORMAL - The Lady Bulldogs softball team will finish the 2012 regular season, in Nashville, TN with a double header, on Wednesday evening against the Lady Tigers of Tennessee State University. First game is set for 5:00 p.m.

Alabama A&M enters the final week of play with a 12-23 record, while TSU comes in at 12-37.

A&M comes in hitting .237 as a team, but possess three batters above .300. With a batting average of .352, 32 hits, ten doubles, and 15 walks Jasmine Riley tops. Raven Grubbs is batting .339, while Brianna Zeigler leads the speed game with 14 stolen bases and 17 runs scored, while hitting .303.

Totaling 134.2 innings, two shutouts and 101 strikeouts, under her belt Anisa Britt has a 4.61 ERA as the Lady Bulldogs starting pitcher. Cassandra Brown is second on the team with 77.2 innings worked, and has an 8.23 ERA.
