Final Standings

Montgomery, Ala – Nicole Kleutgen finished in ninth place at the Lady Hornets Invitational hosted by Alabama State University where she was the lone A&M bowler to place in the top ten individual standings .

The Maroon and White completed the tournament with a 4^th place finish in the overall team standings.

The Lady Hornets Invitational was comprised of 11 women's teams from Florida, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama. Sam Houston State won the overall women's title with a score of 7,396. Alabama State University placed second with a total pin-fall of 6,875 while Louisiana Tech took home the third place trophy with a score of 6,488.

Kleutgen was the team leader with a total pin-fall of 951. Rebecca Goodwin was 38 pins behind her as she bowled a team-high of 202 in game one. She placed 20^th in the individual standings. Camille Collins finished in 25^th place with a pin-fall score of 888 while Ariel Dowdy took 43^rd with a score of 822 total pin-falls. Tiffany Stage rounded out the Lady Bulldogs in 48^th place.

A&M women's bowling will regroup in the New Year for the SWAC West Roundup in Baton Rouge, La., January 17, 2014.
