A&M Softball ends season at UAH

NORMAL, Ala. - The Lady Bulldogs softball team will finish the 2013 regular season, in Huntsville with a single game, on Tuesday evening against the Lady Chargers of Alabama-Huntsville. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m.

Alabama A&M enters the final contest with a 11-26 record, while UAH comes in at 32-13.

A&M comes in hitting .260 as a team, but possess three batters hitting above .300. With a batting average of .410, 41 hits, seven doubles, and 21 walks Jasmine Riley tops. Anisa Britt is batting .350, while Brianna Zeigler leads the speed game with 19 stolen bases and 29 runs scored, while hitting .327 from the plate.

Totaling 97.2 innings, one shutout and 40 strikeouts, under her belt Meaghan Gray has a 6.61 ERA as the Lady Bulldogs starting pitcher. Cassandra Brown is second on the team with 81.2 innings worked, and has an 7.38 ERA.

UAH offensive leader Cortney McNett is batting a team-best .407 while also leading the team in doubles and home runs with 12 and nine, respectively.
