Tigers too much for Lady Bulldogs, fall 14-0

Box Score
Clemson, SC- The Lady Bulldogs fall to 0-10 on the season after being dominated 14-0 by the Clemson Tigers in South Carolina.

In the first meeting between the two programs, A&M found themselves out matched. Clemson's size and skill, and experience overwhelmed the young Maroon & White team.

The Lady Bulldogs found themselves behind early, as the Tigers wasted no time stamping their mark on the game. CU's first shot found the back of the net at the 1:06 mark. Goals continued to find sophomore keeper Marissa Oehler's net throughout the half. Oehler tallied six saves for the period on 23 shots faced.

At the end of the first 45-minute period, A&M trailed 9-0. Freshman, Estelle Esperance took the lone shot for the Lady Bulldogs. Esperance beat the keeper and forced a goal line save from a Tiger defender.

The second period saw the Maroon & White increase their total time of possession, and up their shot tally to two. The second shot of the day was again from Esperance.

On the defensive end of the field, A&M let in five more goals from 13 Tiger shots. Oehler increased her save total to eight on the day, after seeing 36 total shots.

At the end of the day's action, the Lady Bulldogs lost a 14-nil contest. A&M will return to action on Sunday, September 29 in Richmond, Kentucky against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
