Normal - The Alabama A&M softball team will host the Tigers of Tuskegee University on Wednesday, February 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Lady Bulldog Field.
With 15 games under their belt, the Maroon & White are set to play their second home game in front of their hometown fans. The team will play a doubleheader versus the in-state foe.
Last year AAMU swept Tuskegee, winning the first game 10-2 and then took the nightcap 7-1.
Tuskegee comes into tomorrow contest with a 2-0 record on the year.
The Lady Bulldogs sport a 6-9 mark heading into Wednesday's duel. Taiya McInnes, who is batting .400 with a double, a triple and 10 RBI's, leads A&M at the plate. Chelsey Ferguson follows, batting .367, after collecting two triples and seven RBI's.
In the pitcher's circle, Cassandra Brown has tossed more than 32 innings, tallying 12 strikeouts for an 3-2 record. Britt, who has a team-best 5.46 ERA, has recorded 31 innings of action and eight strikeouts.
