NORMAL -- Beautiful Louis Crews Stadium is the site for this year's Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The meet is scheduled for this weekend - April 24-26 - and more than 300 athletes will participate, representing all 10 SWAC men's and women's teams.

The action starts 8:30 a.m. Friday with the men's javelin and the women's 10,000 meter finals.

On Saturday, events begin at 8 a.m. with Day 2 of the decathlon and heptathlon.

Competition on Sunday starts at 9 a.m.and is highlighted by finals in the 100, 200, hurdles, relays, jumps and pole vault.

Tickets are $5 per day or $12 for the weekend.
