GRAMBLING, La.---The Alabama A&M Softball team will face their second conference opponent of the season, the Grambling State Tigers in Grambling, LA this Friday and Saturday.

SCOUTING ALABAMA A&M
The Lady Bulldogs (9-11, 1-2 SWAC) last took the field Wednesday in a doubleheader falling to Samford (9-0 and 5-1). AAMU totaled nine hits in two games, including homeruns from Ariel Smith and Tamia Lee-Barbadillo. Lee-Barbadillo currently leads the team with 20 hits, a .364 batting average, four homeruns and four RBI.
The Lady Bulldogs look to improve their conference record of 1-2 after dropping game two and three last weekend to the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers.
SCOUTING GRAMBLING STATE
The Lady Tigers are 8-13 for the 2018 season and 0-2 in conference play, with league losses to Mississippi Valley. Monique Smith currently leads Grambling with 16 hits, a .372 batting average, and 12 RBI.
2016 MATCHUP
In the 2016 season, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Grambling in game one and two of the three game series (11-1, 23-6) before falling to the Lady Tigers in game three with a score of 4-8.
