HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – After having seen their season opening tournament cancelled due to severe weather, Alabama A&M (0-0, 0-0 SWAC) baseball will return to the field against one of the top teams in the country as they head to Auburn (3-0, 0-0 SEC) for games on Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24. Both games are slated for a 4 p.m. first pitch in Auburn, Alabama.
The Bulldogs were slated to take part in the Major League Baseball (MLB) sponsored Andre "The Hawk" Dawson Classic in New Orleans this past weekend before that event was cancelled due to the extreme winter weather impacting the country.
Auburn, meanwhile, completed a three game sweep of Presbyterian last weekend, earning victories by scores of 14-3, 6-1 and 2-1, the latter in 10 innings.
