HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (1-7, 0-0 SWAC) softball is set to open their home season as they host NCAA Division II Tuskegee (3-4, 0-0 SIAC) in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 13. First pitch is set for 12 p.m.
The Bulldogs come in having played eight games on the road at the Alabama State Black & Gold Tournament and Mercer's Black and Orange Challenge. Meanwhile, Tuskegee appears to have become an honorary member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) as they have played five of their seven games against league members. Of those, they have split with both Jackson State and Alcorn State while knocking off Alabama State by a 10-7 score.
