HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Coming off of a doubleheader sweep, Alabama A&M (3-7, 0-0 SWAC) softball is set to kickoff Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play as they host Southern (1-13, 0-0 SWAC) in a three-game set on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. on Friday with the doubleheader portion of the series slated for 12 and 2 p.m., respectively, on Saturday.
A&M comes in having swept NCAA Division II Tuskegee by scores of 6-5 and 10-2 on Saturday, March 13 while the Jaguars snapped a 15-game losing streak that dated to last season with a 7-2 win over Louisiana College on Sunday, March 14.
